To what extent is the hadith sound which mentions that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became cheerful one day, and when asked for the reason, he replied that a messenger came to him from his Lord and informed him that whoever among his Ummah invokes blessings upon him once, Allah will record for him ten good deeds, erase from him ten sins, raise him ten degrees, and return to him the like thereof?

Ahmad narrated a Hadith from Abu Talhah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever among my Ummah sends salah upon me once, Allah will record for him ten good deeds, erase ten bad deeds from him, raise him ten degrees, and return to him the like thereof." Al-Arna'ut graded its chain of narration as weak, while Al-Albani graded it as hasan (good) due to its multiple طرق (chains of narration).
