It is permissible for a traveler to combine two prayers, either by advancing or delaying them, and this is the opinion of the majority of scholars. It is permissible to combine Dhuhr and Asr, and Maghrib and Isha, due to the excuse of travel. However, if a traveler intends to stay for four days or more, their travel status ceases, and they are no longer allowed to shorten or combine prayers.
