Will the believer be rewarded for every deed he strives for in this world?
A Muslim is rewarded for his efforts in doing good deeds if his intention is sincere, even if the deed is not completed, for a good deed is recorded simply by the intention to do it. Moreover, permissible acts such as eating and sleeping can be transformed into acts of worship for which a Muslim is rewarded if he intends thereby to strengthen himself for obedience to Allah and to keep himself from the unlawful.
