Is it permissible to dissect frogs for college students if not dissecting them leads to failing the course or being deprived of grades, thus preventing them from excelling or being appointed as teaching assistants?

Scholars have differed on the ruling concerning killing frogs. Some have deemed it reprehensible (makrooh), while others have declared it unlawful (haram), citing the Prophet Muhammad's—peace and blessings be upon him—prohibition against killing them. As for dissecting a frog out of need or necessity, there is no objection to it. However, animals must be treated with kindness by tranquilizing them and ensuring their comfortable slaughter.
