What is the religious ruling regarding Islamic Sufi orders, such as the Khalilīyah order?

The Khaliliyya Tariqa is a Sufi order founded by Ibrahim Abu Khalil, an illiterate man to whom his followers attribute miracles and supernatural feats. Its details are unknown, as is the current state of its leader, Sheikh Salih. Therefore, it is not possible to judge whether it conforms to or contradicts Islamic law.
