What is the authenticity of the Hadith which mentions that Quraysh was a light glorifying Allah two thousand years before the creation of Adam, and that this light was transferred to the loins of Adam, then the prophets, until it reached the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him?

The hadith, "I came forth from wedlock and not from illicit intercourse...", was narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) and was graded as hasan (good) by Al-Albani. It has many corroborating reports and chains of transmission. As for the hadith of Ibn Abbas, it was narrated by Ibn Asakir, and Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir described it as "very denounced" (munkar jiddan). Al-Bayhaqi and Al-Tabarani narrated it in an abridged form with wording similar to the hadith of Ali, but it contains weakness. The chain of transmission mentioned by the questioner was not found in the available books of hadith.
