1. To demonstrate the perfection of Allah's power in creating opposites, such as good and evil, and night and day. 2. To manifest the effects of His compelling names, like "The Irresistible" (Al-Qahhar) and "The Avenger" (Al-Muntaqim), as well as His names that encompass forbearance and forgiveness. 3. To show forth the effects of the names pertaining to wisdom and expertise, for Allah places things in their appropriate positions. 4. To realize diverse forms of worship that cannot be achieved except through the existence of disbelief and disobedience, such as the worship of jihad, repentance, and opposing Satan. 5. To display Allah's signs and the wonders of His creation that emerged due to the disbelief of oppressors and the stubbornness of deniers. 6. That the creation of opposing causes expresses the perfection of divine Lordship, power, and wisdom. 7. Indeed, the existence of partial evil leads to a greater good, just as the cosmic causes that inflict some harm contain great good. 8. Questioning why not all creatures are supplied with guidance is ignorance, for wisdom lies in the differentiation among existing things.
