Is it permissible to donate to a temple to ward off harm and preserve the privileges enjoyed by Muslims working in a non-Islamic company?

It is not permissible to donate to a temple, a church, or a place where other than Allah is worshipped, because doing so constitutes aiding in evil, which is polytheism (shirk). Allah says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). It is obligatory to refuse this donation, even if it leads to unemployment.
