Is there a difference between supplicating with: "O Allah, grant me a righteous spouse, and grant me in him/her the best of what I wish for?" and supplicating with: "O Allah, grant me a spouse who possesses all the qualities I wish for, which are good for me?" And which of them is better?

Both forms are good, but it is better to supplicate with comprehensive prayers mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah (definition), such as the supplication: "{Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us leaders for the righteous}" [Quran 25:74]. Its interpretation is that a servant sees the obedience of Allah in his family and loved ones. Among the comprehensive supplications is also: "O Allah, our Lord, grant us in this world good, and in the Hereafter good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." This was the most frequent supplication of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The "good" in this world refers to knowledge and good provisions, and in the Hereafter it refers to Paradise.
