The answer

What we advise you to do is to persuade your wife and her mother to go with you for 'Umrah, accompanied by your father. In doing so, you combine fulfilling your promise to your wife and honoring your father. If they insist on not going with you, then first respond to your father by taking him for 'Umrah, and then postpone your wife and her mother to a later time; because honoring your father is more obligatory upon you than fulfilling your promise to your wife.
