What is the ruling on working as a laboratory technician in a private laboratory if the owners of the laboratory deal with doctors by giving them high percentages in exchange for referring patients to perform many tests, knowing that more than 90% of these tests are useless and are performed only to increase the doctor's percentage?

If what is paid to doctors is in exchange for deceiving patients and requesting unnecessary tests, then it is bribery and consuming wealth unjustly, both of which are forbidden. Abdullah ibn Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who gives bribes and the one who takes them. And in Sahih Muslim, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever deceives is not one of us." The owners of the laboratory must be forbidden from this act, and if they do not desist, then it is obligatory to stop working with them. Allah will compensate with something better, as He Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."
