How long will the people of Paradise remain therein, and will they ever leave it?

If the people of Paradise enter Paradise, they will abide therein forever, never to depart from it. Likewise, the people of Hell will abide therein forever, never to depart from it. Paradise is a dwelling of recompense for those who believed and performed righteous deeds, wherein there is everlasting bliss that neither perishes nor ceases nor is tainted by any imperfection. Its inhabitants will not be afflicted by weariness, nor will they ever depart from it. The texts of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet have affirmed the eternal abiding of the people of Paradise in Paradise and the eternal abiding of the people of Hell in Hell.
