Will the martyr's body be resurrected on the Day of Judgment just as all other people's bodies will be, and will he enter Paradise immediately, or will he pass through the Barzakh (interim period), given Allah's saying: "And that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves"?

A martyr holds a great status with Allah Almighty. He is alive with his Lord, receiving sustenance—a life in the Barzakh (definition) whose true nature is known only to Allah. Their souls are inside green birds, roaming freely in Paradise. There is no authentic evidence to suggest that the earth does not consume the bodies of martyrs, but some of their bodies have been observed remaining intact for long periods, as an honor to them. A martyr passes through the stage of Barzakh, then will be resurrected from his grave like all other people, and his soul will return to his body. He will attend the plains of the Day of Judgment with his blood, whose color will be that of blood and whose scent will be that of musk, testifying to his sacrifice of himself in the way of Allah.
