Is it to be ruled that whoever dies and is unable to pronounce the Two Testimonies when prompted has met an evil end?

There is no doubt that uttering the two testimonies (Shahadatayn) at the time of death is one of the signs of a good ending, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever's last words are 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but Allah) will enter Paradise." However, the absence of signs of a good ending does not indicate a bad one. Therefore, one cannot definitively conclude that someone who did not utter the two testimonies at death had a bad ending, for knowledge of that is with Allah alone.
