A bequest to an heir is not valid. If a deceased person makes a bequest to one of their heirs, this bequest is not executed unless the other heirs consent. And whoever informed his father that this is not permissible, then he is a sincere and benevolent advisor, [even if] he did not adhere to gentleness and proper manners in addressing and advising his father.
