Is it permissible to marry one's irreligious paternal cousin with the intention of guiding her to righteousness?

The noble Hadith recommends marrying a religious woman. Marrying a girl who was not raised in an Islamic upbringing contradicts the Prophet's ﷺ recommendation. It also constitutes disobedience to parents, whose obedience is obligatory, in their prohibition of marrying a specific woman. Inviting the girl to Islam is an unconfirmed benefit, and it is opposed by detriments such as disobeying parents and the possibility of her negative influence on the children. Therefore, it is obligatory to obey the parents and seek another girl who is religious and of good character.
