What is the religious ruling on a "misyar" marriage, and how would the family and children be housed in such a case?

A legally valid marriage (Nikah) requires five conditions: the designation of both spouses, their mutual consent, the presence of a guardian (wali) as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no marriage except with a guardian," the witnessing of the contract by two witnesses, and the absence of any legal impediments for both spouses. If these conditions are met, the marriage is valid, including a "Misyar" marriage, with the permissibility for the wife to waive her rights such as her financial support (nafaqah) and housing (sukna). However, if there are children, the husband must provide for them, offer them housing, and all their necessities, as the Prophet, peace and and blessings be upon him, said: "It is enough sin for a man to neglect those he is responsible for supporting."
