What happens if the conditions for a righteous vision are met, but it is not seen?

There is nothing you can do to ensure that a true vision occurs; you may see it, or you may not. A person may live a long lifetime and never see anything of the sort. Your not seeing visions in your dream does not entail any harm, so do not preoccupy yourself with this matter. Rather, occupy yourself with what benefits you in your religion and your worldly life. If you see a good vision, rejoice in it and tell those whom you love about it.
