The answer

Adam, peace be upon him, is the first human being God created, and from him Eve was created, and from both of them all humanity was created, in fulfillment of the Almighty’s saying: "It is He who created you from one soul and made from it its spouse" (Al-A'raf: 189). Other verses have stated that God made Adam a caliph on Earth after its creation, which indicates that he was the first human being on Earth. This meaning is supported by what is narrated in the Sunnah, that creations will turn to Adam on the Day of Resurrection, seeking his intercession because he is the father of humanity, and that "people are from Adam, and Adam is from dust."
