Is it permissible for a father to relinquish a rented apartment to his daughter for her to purchase and own with her own money, while there are also male children?

It is permissible for a father to relinquish the remaining lease term to his daughter for compensation. However, it is not permissible to relinquish it to her without compensation, as it is not allowed to favor children in gifts without a legitimate religious reason. This is because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not ask me to bear witness, for I do not bear witness to injustice." This ruling applies if the house is owned by the father. However, if the lease term has ended, the father does not have the right to relinquish the usufruct. Furthermore, a father must provide housing for his family, so if his relinquishment leads to the neglect of those he supports, then the relinquishment is prohibited, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is sufficient sin for a person to neglect those he feeds."
