Is persistence in sitting with those who insult the religion considered disbelief (kufr)? What is the extent of the impact of inner or verbal disapproval on this? Does this disbelief lead to the dissolution of the marriage contract? Also, inquiring about the meaning of "al-mithliyyah" (homogeneity/likeness) in the noble verse, and the ruling on renewing the contract based on differing madhahib (schools of thought)?

Whoever's Islam has been established with certainty, it is not removed except by a certainty like it. And one who hears disbelief while his heart is content with faith does not share in the speaker's disbelief unless he approves of it. The similarity in Allah's Almighty saying: (Indeed, you would then be like them) does not mean similarity in disbelief, but rather participation in sin. It is incumbent upon a Muslim to condemn evil as much as he can, and the weakest of faith is to abandon it. You have not disbelieved merely by sitting in this place as long as your heart is content with faith, and your wife is still under your marital protection.
