The answer

Trade during the Hajj season is permissible, both during and after it, and it does not contradict sincerity, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿There is no blame upon you for seeking bounty from your Lord.﴾ Al-Qurtubi interpreted this as evidence for the permissibility of trading for the pilgrim while performing worship, and that the intention does not remove the individual from sincerity. Ibn Jarir mentioned that a group of the Salaf, including Ibn Abbas, Ibn Umar, Mujahid, Ata, and Ikrimah, stated that this verse was revealed concerning trade during the Hajj season.
