If the wife's sister was unconscious, she bears no sin. The wife's family must apologize to her for what they unjustly attributed to her and repent to Allah. The wife should forgive and overlook, but it is not permissible for her to abandon them. Rather, she should greet them, and it is better for her to visit them and apologize for her estrangement after their repentance. She should also ask them to apologize publicly before those who heard their accusations against her.
