What is the detailed explanation of the Hadith "You and your wealth belong to your father," and does it apply to a father who takes the money of his sick son, who has young children in need of it, especially since the father has sufficient resources for himself?

The questioner should please his parents as much as he can and be patient with them, for there is much good in that. He is commanded to be patient, forgiving, and pardoning towards people in general, and his parents are more deserving of this.

The father is asked to lighten the burden on his son, to be compassionate and merciful towards him, and not to take from his son's money except what he needs, or what the son willingly gives. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The wealth of a Muslim person is not lawful [to take] except with his willing consent."
