What is the ruling on a partnership in which one of the partners pays half the value of the shop and obtains the commercial registration, while the other partners pay the remaining half, procure the goods, manage the shop, and cover all related expenses, on condition that they pay a monthly sum to the first party?

It is permissible to rent out half of the shop for a monthly or annual rent as agreed upon. However, participation in the manner mentioned is not permissible, because a partner is entitled to a share of the agreed-upon profits, and it is not permissible for him to receive a fixed sum every month regardless of the profits.
