The wife must offer sincere repentance and not revert to such behavior, for a righteous woman safeguards her husband in herself and his wealth. The divorce conditioned by the husband on his wife's speech being vulgar with another person does not occur if the wife claims otherwise, because her statement is what is considered. The husband is advised to teach his wife matters of her religion and encourage her to observe modesty and hijab (definition), and to distance herself from places of temptation.
