Is one who shortens and then shaves rewarded the same as one who shaves initially?

He does not need to repeat the rituals, but in the coming years, he must be keen to shave his head during Hajj and shorten his hair during 'Umrah if he is performing Tamattu', because the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, supplicated for those who shaved their heads three times, and for those who shortened their hair on the fourth, after the Companions reviewed him.
