What should a girl who has repented from zina do if a suitor proposes to her, should she inform him of her past, and how should she deal with her family?

If a girl repents sincerely, it is permissible for her to accept a suitor, for repentance erases what came before it. She is not obliged to inform him or his family about what she fell into; rather, she must conceal it, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): "Whoever commits any of these abominable deeds, let him conceal himself with the concealment of Allah." If her virginity is lost, she is not obliged to inform the suitor unless he stipulates virginity, and even then, she is not obliged to inform him of the reason for its loss.
