When does the waiting period ('iddah) begin for a woman whose husband was found dead after a week, knowing that he is believed to have died three days before he was found?

The waiting period (iddah) for a woman whose husband has died begins from the moment of his death and lasts for four months and ten days. During this time, she must observe mourning (ihdad), unless she is pregnant, in which case her iddah ends upon giving birth. This is based on the Almighty’s saying: "And those of you who die and leave wives behind - they, [the wives], shall wait concerning themselves for four months and ten [days]," and His saying: "And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they deliver their burden."
