Is it permissible for medical students to write a hypothetical medical history or to use artificial intelligence for assistance without meeting the patients, knowing that the supervisor is unaware of this, and is this action considered deceit and cheating?

What your colleagues are doing by falsifying medical reports is forbidden (haram) if the college prohibits it, because it is lying, deception, and a violation of the terms of study. Allah has forbidden lying and deception and commanded fulfilling covenants and conditions. Allah Almighty said: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts" [Al-Ma'idah: 1].

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions," narrated by Al-Bukhari as a commentary, and by Abu Dawud.

He also said: "Indeed, lying leads to wickedness, and indeed, wickedness leads to the Hellfire. And indeed, a man continues to lie until he is written before Allah as a great liar," narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

And he said: "Whoever deceives us is not one of us," narrated by Muslim.

And Allah Almighty said, warning against false speech: "So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement" [Al-Hajj: 30].

And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Shall I not inform you of the gravest of the major sins?" We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Associating partners with Allah, and disrespecting parents." He was reclining but then sat up and said: "And indeed, false speech, and false testimony!" He kept repeating it until we said: "Would that he stop!" narrated by Al-Bukhari.

The definition of falsehood (az-zur) is: "Describing something contrary to its reality."
