What is the way to get rid of hatred and resentment towards a woman one is forced to live with, especially when feeling jealous, and how can one ignore her and focus on the future?

If hatred is not for the sake of Allah, but is caused by malice, envy, or jealousy, then it harms its owner and corrupts their religion and worldly life. Envy is a great disease that harms the envious person in both religion and worldly life: In religion: Because it shows discontent with Allah's decree and dislikes His blessings, and it makes one akin to Iblis and the disbelievers in desiring the removal of blessings from believers, and it consumes good deeds. In worldly life: Because it causes pain, sorrow, and grief to the envious person, and it does not remove the blessing from the envied one.

The envious person is their own enemy and the friend of their enemy, because they are harmed in this world and the Hereafter, while the envied person benefits. The cure for envy is through knowledge and action: Through knowledge: By realizing that envy harms you and does not harm the envied person, and that the envied person benefits from your injustice towards them. Through action: By obliging oneself to do the opposite of envy, such as showing humility to the envied one, praising them, and showing joy for their blessings.

Envy is the dislike of what Allah has bestowed upon others, and it leads to many prohibitions: 1. Disliking what Allah has decreed and opposing His judgment. 2. It consumes good deeds just as fire consumes wood. 3. It causes regret and pain to the envious person. 4. It resembles the Jews. 5. It does not remove Allah's blessing from others. 6. It contradicts the perfection of faith ("None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself"). 7. It causes the servant to turn away from asking Allah for His bounty. 8. It causes disdain for Allah's blessings upon the envious person themselves. 9. It is a dispraised trait that makes the envious person try to diminish the status of the envied one. 10. It leads to the envied person taking from the envious person's good deeds on the Day of Judgment.
