Is it permissible for a husband to look at pictures of his deceased wife, including photographs and video clips that show her 'awrah?

It is not permissible for a husband to look at pictures of his wife in which her 'awrah (intimate parts) appears after her death. This is because the permissibility of looking at her 'awrah was contingent upon the permissibility of deriving pleasure from her. With the cessation of deriving pleasure due to death, this permissibility is removed. Furthermore, pictures of the 'awrah can arouse desire, and there is no meaning in permitting looking at them while deriving pleasure is forbidden.
