What is the reward for sponsoring an orphan from the Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt) in this world and the hereafter, and is it a sin to stop the annual payment for sponsoring another orphan?

Sponsoring an orphan from among the People of the Household (Ahl al-Bayt) carries immense reward. As for discontinuing or stopping the sponsorship of another orphan, this is considered a voluntary charity, and there is no obligation to fulfill it or continue it. However, it is preferable to continue due to the compensation Allah bestows upon the one who spends, as Allah Almighty says: "Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you," and as the angels say: "O Allah, grant compensation to the one who spends."
