Is it permissible for a female doctor specializing in internal medicine to treat men, knowing that her work circumstances require her to be present as the responsible physician at the hospital during the night?

There is no objection to a woman working as a specialist internal medicine physician if she adheres to the Islamic legal guidelines. However, her treatment of men is not permissible except out of a legal necessity, such as the absence of a male physician for a life-threatening or severely painful medical condition, and when treatment cannot be delayed. Similarly, it is permissible for a woman to stay overnight at the hospital for her shift if necessity calls for it, especially for treating women.
