The answer

Achieving affection and understanding between spouses requires patience, overlooking mistakes, disregarding slips, and focusing on the good aspects of the other party's character. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No believing man should hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another."

We advise you to bring your wife back to your home, communicate with her, and live with her kindly. If she shows disobedience (nushooz), then follow the Shariah-prescribed methods with her: admonition, desertion in bed, and non-painful beating. If her mother is corrupting her, you have the right to prevent your wife from visiting her mother and to prevent her mother from visiting her. If these means of reconciliation are not effective, or if she refuses to return to your home, then involve some wise and righteous people from your family or others to reconcile between you. Divorce is the last resort.
