Is it permissible to work as an information technology employee in a law firm that deals primarily in the financial market, and may have dealings in loans and interest?

Working in companies that oversee financial market transactions does not exempt an employee from participating in sin, especially if their job involves organizing prohibited activities or usurious interests. Allah Almighty has forbidden cooperation in sin and aggression, saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty) Al-Ma'idah/2. Working in such companies that involve usury is not permissible; rather, it is forbidden. Likewise, it is not permissible to work in companies that look after the interests of their members and demand their usurious money, when their work stems from the law, not from the Sharia (definition). The Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas has issued a fatwa (definition) prohibiting working in banks and usurious institutions, citing the hadith (definition): (The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the devourer of usury, its payer, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and he said: They are all equal.)
