The answer

Allah the Almighty has made it clear that the religion acceptable to Him is Islam, and that He will not accept any other. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers. Islam is the religion of all prophets. Therefore, whoever dies upon a religion other than Islam will be in the Hellfire, and this is not an injustice, because Allah has established proof for His creation, sent messengers, and clarified for them the path to salvation. Allah does not equate Muslims with criminals, nor the pious with the wicked. So, whoever does good, it is for himself, and whoever does evil, it is against himself. Weakness of conviction may be due to ignorance of the religion, and whoever knows it will realize that it is the truth. The questioner should re-examine himself and strengthen his connection with the Book of Allah.
