What is the ruling on a message containing a will attributed to Sheikh Ahmad, the keeper of the keys to the sanctuary of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in which he claims to have seen the Messenger in a dream, threatens with calamities those who do not disseminate it, promises abundant good to those who distribute it, and cites Quranic verses to confirm its content?

This will attributed to Sheikh Ahmad, whose author claims to have seen the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a dream, is a lie and invalid for several reasons: Firstly: Revelation ceased with the death of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the religion has been perfected. Rulings are not established by dreams and stories, but by the Qur'an and Sunnah. Secondly: The fabrications in this will make it greater than the Holy Qur'an, and it contains a promise of Paradise and a threat of Hell without any religious basis. Thirdly: The will claims knowledge of the unseen, which only Allah possesses. Fourthly: Reward and punishment are only established by a text from the Qur'an and Sunnah. The falsehood of this will has become evident with the passage of time.

The purpose of this will is to mislead people from the true religion and divert them from the Qur'an and Sunnah towards superstitions. Secret organizations of disbelievers and hypocrites may be behind it, aiming to distance Muslims from their true religion.

Muslims must adhere to the Qur'an and Sunnah and be wary of misleading schemes. Allah Almighty has preserved His religion from alteration, and scholars have set guidelines to distinguish authentic hadith from fabricated ones. One should ask people of knowledge about what is unclear to them.
