Is it permissible to persuade one's divorced wife to seek a Khul’ from her second husband and return to me, or to request that from her husband, in order to preserve and raise the children?
It is not permissible for a woman to ask a man to divorce his wife so that he may marry her. Imam Ahmad explicitly stated that this is unlawful.
