What is the ruling on drawing pictures of inanimate objects, and cartoon drawings that may resemble animals but with different characteristics, and the ruling on keeping them or wearing clothes that have such drawings?

It is permissible to draw pictures of inanimate objects and adorn rooms with them, provided there is no extravagance or waste of time. As for cartoon drawings of animate beings, even if they are imaginary, like winged animals, it is forbidden to draw them, own them, hang them, or depict them on clothing. It is not permissible to wear anything that has a picture of an animal or a human, whether in prayer or outside of it.
