What is the ruling regarding a wife who refuses to eat or drink anything offered by her husband, doubts everything he brings into the house, accuses him of sorcery, rejects psychological treatment, and teaches her daughters to also doubt their father?

Harboring ill thoughts (su' adh-dhann) is forbidden in Islamic law, and it is a sin that leads to other sins such as spying and backbiting. It is not permissible for a wife to accuse her husband of sorcery without clear proof. Spying is also forbidden, and entertaining ill thoughts by daughters towards their father is an act of disobedience (uquq). Leaving milk until it spoils is a form of forbidden extravagance (tabdheer). It is advised to be patient with the wife and try to reform her; she may need psychological treatment or Ruqyah (definition) Shar'iyyah.
