The answer

There is nothing in the Qur’an and that explicitly indicates angels seeing Allah in this world. Such unseen matters should be left unaddressed unless there is an authentic report. As for the Hereafter, the correct view is that angels will see Allah Almighty. Al-Bayhaqi, Al-Suyuti, and others have stated this, citing hadiths that mention Allah’s manifestation to the angels on the Day of Resurrection. The truth is that angels and believing jinn will see Allah in the موقف (standing place) and in Paradise at specific times, but their vision differs from that of believing humans. Furthermore, Ahl al-Sunnah (Sunni Muslims) have a consensus on the vision of prophets, messengers, the truthful (siddiqeen), and believing humans seeing Allah in Paradise, as well as the vision of angels and believing jinn.
