Is the objective of free courses—which is to attract an audience for paid courses—considered showing off and seeking a reputation, thereby forfeiting reward and recompense? And how can one purify their intention solely for Allah in a work that combines earning a livelihood with benefiting people?

For actions that are not purely devotional, intention is not obligatory, and there is no sin in desiring worldly gain through them. However, whoever combines the intention of earning a livelihood or the like with the intention of drawing closer to Allah will be rewarded for it, as in the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah عز وجل will admit three people into Paradise with one arrow: its maker, who seeks good in its making, the one who supplies it, and the one who shoots it." Some scholars have gone further, stating that a person will be rewarded for actions whose benefit extends to others, even without the intention of seeking reward. Therefore, strive to bring to mind the intention of drawing closer to Allah and seeking reward from Him, and beware of obsessive doubts regarding the intention.
