Does a person's torment in the grave continue until the Day of Resurrection, and will they also be tormented in the Hereafter?

The sacred texts indicate that after death, a person will either be punished or rewarded. This is known as the torment and bliss of the grave. Among the evidence for this is the Almighty's saying: "The Fire, they are exposed to it morning and evening. And the Day the Hour appears [it will be said], 'Admit the people of Pharaoh to the severest punishment!'" [Ghafir: 46]. And the Hadith narrated by Al-Bukhari from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When one of you dies, his abode is shown to him morning and evening. If he is among the people of Paradise, then among the people of Paradise; and if he is among the people of Hellfire, then among the people of Hellfire." Also, the long Hadith of Samurah ibn Jundab, in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, describes the torment of some disobedient individuals in the Barzakh, among them the one who abandons the Qur'an and prayer, the liar, the adulterers, and those who consume Riba. The fact that these individuals are tormented in the grave is evidence that a person is tormented in the grave if their deeds were evil.
