The answer

Praying for mass death at the same time is not permissible because lifespans are predetermined and inscribed with Allah, and they do not change, as Allah Almighty said: "And no one whose life is lengthened has his life lengthened, nor is anything reduced from his life, except that it is in a register." It was narrated in the Hadith of Umm Habibah that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, clarified that lifespans are fixed and provisions are divided, and they do not change, and that praying to alter them is not permissible. Such a supplication may stem from a weakness in submission to Allah's decree and is considered an transgression in supplication, which is forbidden.
