What is the interpretation of the noble Hadith: "The people of Yemen have come to you; they are the most tender of hearts and the softest of hearts. Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni. Pride and arrogance are among the owners of camels, and tranquility and dignity are among the owners of sheep"?

The aforementioned Hadith is authentic, narrated by the

two Shaykhs. The Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying, "and the most tender of hearts," means the softest of hearts and the quickest to respond to the truth. "The softest of hearts" means the most compassionate and sympathetic. "Faith is Yemeni" means it originates from Yemen, referring to the perfect faith of the people of Yemen present at that time. "Wisdom is Yemeni" means knowledge that encompasses the معرفة of Allah. "Pride and arrogance are in the owners of camels" refers to conceit and boasting due to their preoccupation with worldly matters that harden their hearts. As for "tranquility and dignity are in the owners of sheep," it is because they have less wealth and abundance. This might be an indication to the people of Yemen, as most of their livestock are sheep.
