The question

Does a person who prays over a deceased Muslim receive the reward of one qirāṭ for each funeral prayer they perform, or is it sufficient for them to pray over more than one deceased person to obtain the reward of that number of qirāṭs? And does the reward differ if the deceased is a child, a woman, or a man?

The answer

Whoever prays over a Muslim funeral until the prayer is performed, he will have a qirat. And whoever follows it until it is buried, he will have two qirats. A qirat is like a great mountain. The qirat multiplies with the number of funerals prayed over.
