The answer

The feeling of distress and the desire for death due to evil thoughts are merely whispers [from Satan - waswasah], and a servant's dislike of these whispers is a sign of his faith. Some Companions asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about similar thoughts, and he replied that their profound aversion to these thoughts and their rejection of them was a clear sign of faith. Whispers and self-talk are forgiven as long as they do not settle [in the heart]. Therefore, a Muslim should strive to repel these thoughts and occupy himself with beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds. As for the scientific miracles in the Quran, some aspects, such as the formation of clouds and the development of embryos, were unknown to anyone at the time of the Quran's revelation, which confirms its miraculous nature.
