If the wife requests a separate dwelling, she has the right to it, and there is no blame upon her for not returning to her husband unless he provides the separate dwelling. If the husband provides it, she is obligated to obey him by returning and staying in the home, and she is not permitted to leave except with his permission or out of necessity. If her father orders her to leave or to disobey her husband in matters where obedience to him is obligatory, then he is sinful, and she is not permitted to obey him in that instance; because obedience to the husband is more rightful.
