What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a girl who published her experience of sexual harassment on social media?

The girl was obligated to conceal her situation and not speak about what was done to her, due to what is stated in the Sharia (definition) regarding the command to conceal one's own affairs and avert suspicion from oneself. Her speaking about it and spreading it makes it a story circulated by tongues, and she must make sincere repentance. It was mentioned in the Hadith (definition): "Whoever commits any of these abominable deeds, let him conceal himself with the concealment of Allah." Ibn Abd al-Barr said: "Concealment is obligatory upon the Muslim concerning his own self if he commits a heinous act, and that is also obligatory upon him concerning others."
